Upon arriving in Siem Reap, you will be picked up at airport by our guide and transfer to your hotel (check in time from 12 – 2pm).

Afternoon you’ll explore the famed Angkor Wat Temple. The largest and best preserved among the many temples in the area, Angkor Wat is the highlight of most all Cambodia holiday packages, and the experience of walking its sacred grounds is not to be forgotten.

The Apsara dance comes from the legend about Cambodia origination. It shows the happiness and prosperity for the whole country. This evening, enjoy an Apsara dance show while having dinner, a must see for any visitors to Siem Reap

Optional for early riser: Watching sunrise over Angkor Wat or one of lesser known temples in the complex

Begin your day entering the South Gate of Angkor Thom, then view the massive stone faces on the towers of the Bayon. Continue to Ta Prohm which has been left just as it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of jungle growing up through temple ruins. Explore Banteay Srei (known as the Women citadel), a smaller temple which nevertheless stands out for its ornate red sandstone design.

On the way back, stop to visit the Butterfly Garden where you can see and touch to thousand butterfly. This was started to help the ecology and stimulate the local people to think about the environment and hence creating work opportunity. You can walk in the enclosure, and you can see how the process starts with a caterpillar. This place offers a slice of peace and tranquility between temple visits. Fun to learn the names of the species that we’d been seeing on our hikes around the temples.

Close your day with some relaxing time, sit back and wait for the sun to descending behind the Angkor Archaeological Park.

Option:

Enjoy PHARE circus in the evening. The Cambodian Circus has long been famous for their performances, and this NGO teaching street kids to become circus artists is a regular at international circus conventions worldwide. Enjoy their interpretations of modern life and issues in Cambodian society.

This morning explore Mechrey “floating village” by boat, cruising past a floating school, farms and houses in this water-borne community. Amidst the greetings of friendly locals, glimpse Cambodia’s genuine lake culture and traditional family lifestyle.

On the way back to Siem Reap, stop at a Khmer ancient village (Krobey Real) where you will have an unique experience of the real Khmer daily life. Take a walk tour around the village, see many beautiful original Khmer houses, visit a family that makes rattan baskets and a school of Khmer martial art.

Relax and get yourself taken care of with a special kind of wellness treatment Seeing Hand Massage by blind. This is certainly one of the most enjoyable ways of supporting local charities in the city. In a country with no social security, the training and employment provided by these centre allows blind Cambodians to support themselves with dignity.

In dry season (Mar-Sep), when the water is low clients will visit Kompong Kleang floating village instead; and the stop at Krobey Real village won’t be included because it located on the way to Mechrey.

After breakfast you will transfer to the airport in time for your flight.
