Koh Kong, in southwest Cambodia is a frontier town with a vast undeveloped coastline and a rugged interior. The nearby Cardamom Mountains have large areas of untouched rainforest and the island boasts a number of beautiful beaches, mangrove forests and waterways. South of the provincial capital, also called Koh Kong, the mangroves and waterways of Peam Krasop Wildlife Sanctuary are home to animals, birds and fishing communities.
