A brief and captivate cycling adventure beyond Angkor’s beaten paths, where you may extend your ultimate trip in Siem Reap. For full day, discover the ancient myths and untold stories around Kbal Spean, “river of a thousand lingas” as taking a leisurely loop to mesmerizing landscapes along the cycling tour.
On a journey back, stop en route at a local village to create your memento – planting a tree. The day ends by a charming sunset cruise trip among temple complex, round the most wondrous and reminiscent sites.

ANGKOR THE UNCHARTED ADVENTURE

In the morning, you will cycle to Kbal Spean, one of the most fantastic and elaborate spectacle in Angkor, passing by local dorms, schools and through stunning green fields. Taking a 30-minute hike uphill to reach the eminent “river of a thousand lingas”, you might see these symbolic carvings, which represent ancient Angkor legends and mythical stories along the riverbed, also a charming rocky waterfall nearby. From there, you cycle to Banteay Srei Temple, a relic renowned for its antique pink sandstones and sharp, intricate carvings. The unique scuplts here, many in 3D format, are said to be utmostly delicate as if only a tiny lady could have been able to create. Afterwards, your route will lead you through many visitors’ favorite part in this cycling journey, the luscious surrounding landscapes and traditional Khmer villages.

On the way back, you will stop en route to taste sugar palm/ Khmer noodles and join hands with Preah Dak Village’s community planting trees to support reforestation progress in Cambodia. Your plant, maybe a jackfruit or mango tree, would later help both offsetting carbons in nature environment and benefiting local harvest.

In the end of the day, let’s reward yourself with a memorable cruise among Angkor Thom compound on a gondola paddle boat while watching sunset over Prasat Chroung temple. Champagne will be served on the boat, when you slowly float along the sound water, round this ancient moat.

Lunch will be available at Bong Thom or Tevada restaurant.
